F.A.Q

Below is a collection of questions we often encounter. If you have further questions, feel free to contact us directly - We're happy to answer any questions you may have.

Product & Application
The cost per watt in mass manufacturing is estimated at 0.10$/Watt.
We design our panel size to fit standard sizes of glasshose glasses. Since our process is one line printing process, the panel size can be easily adapted to any needed size.

We harvest the blue and green light of the spectrum which are about 30% of the total energy in full spectrum. Our current PCE of a single solar cell is 11%.

There are several reasons: – Cheap available materials. – Manufacturing is a much simpler, printing-like process. – Much cheaper manufacturing facilities enable establishing facilities close to the market and save high transportation costs.
RSF solar panels harvest the blue and green light of the spectrum. Thus, it decreases the excess high energy wavelengths reaching the plant. The result is reduced heat load on plants, lesser water consumption, decreased relative air humidity and pathogenic effects, and improved yield.
Plants utilize almost 95% of the water they consume for cooling. Under RSF panels, the temperature decreases, and plants need much less water.
Development/ Company
Currently, we’re at TRL4, with a proof of concept, a solar cell that transfers the red light with PCE (efficiency) of 11%-12%.
We’ll start recruiting as soon as we raise funding.
Market
We plan to develop a manufacturing process and start low-volume panel manufacturing, with which we will conduct various pilots with different crops. We estimate a time to market of four years.
Several companies, including Oxford PV (England) and Salue Technologies (Poland), initiated production.
Technology
Among the advantages, you can count abundant materials; a simple and faster, printing-like manufacturing process; Tunable band-gap with potential for higher PCE and much simpler recycling process.
Perovskite panels are already under manufacturing in tandem application and on flexible substrates. Long durability and stability are a challenge for developers and manufacturers due to the need to encapsulate the perovskite. We tackle it by choosing a more stable composition of materials, using a glass-to-glass architecture, and developing an encapsulation material. As a result, we achieve long-lasting, durable stability that withstands industry standards.
